Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end applications that connect with an on-premise data lake and integrate seamlessly with other applications. They will leverage their strong UI/UX design skills and full stack development expertise to ensure high-performing, responsive web interfaces that meet customer needs and business requirements. Essential job functions will include but not be limited to:
- Build front-end applications that connect with an on-premise data lake and integrate with other applications.
- Develop user interfaces that cater to customer needs, ensuring seamless integration with various applications.
- Ensure front-end applications connect to an S3 object store efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align front-end features with overall system architecture and back-end infrastructure.
- Maintain and improve website architecture and application responsiveness.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in front-end development.
- Solid foundation in Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Django, Vue.js, etc.
- Proficient in UI/UX design, with a keen eye for responsive design.
- Expertise in version control (Git) and testing/debugging methodologies.
- Proven experience in building web applications.
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in front-end development.
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Strong full-stack development skills, with the ability to handle integration tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud services and object storage solutions.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Clearance Requirements
- Must possess a Secret security clearance.
