Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Epicor P21 Senior Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team in Southeastern Michigan. In this long-term contract role, you will serve as a key liaison between IT and business operations, driving system integrations and optimizing workflows to support organizational goals in the manufacturing sector. This position offers the opportunity to lead critical projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor less experienced developers to enhance their capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and document existing workflows, system configurations, and mappings within the Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) system.
Lead the integration of inventory and processes from newly acquired businesses into the main P21 instance.
Configure and implement P21 systems to support seamless operations across multiple warehouses.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to enhance system functionality and reporting.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced application developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Design and maintain EDI connections to streamline communication between warehouses, vendors, and customers.
Collaborate with business leaders to align system configurations with operational goals and communicate technical solutions effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve system integration challenges to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing functionality.
Provide detailed data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in system processes.
Requirements
Extensive hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) system management, customization, and configuration.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, database design, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of EDI setup and maintenance in the context of P21.
Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders and translate operational needs into technical solutions.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills in addressing complex system integration challenges.
Experience mentoring or leading less experienced developers to enhance their technical skills.
Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse configuration processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
