Job Description Java Security Engineer (SOX Controls Expertise)
Location- CA
- Develop and implement secure Java applications, ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls and regulatory standards.
- Develop and integrate security features into Java applications, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure APIs.
- Remediate security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Conduct code reviews and security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in application logic and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to map technical controls to SOX requirements and support audits with proper documentation.
- Integrate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms using frameworks like Spring Security and OAuth2.
- Manage identity and access control mechanisms using OAuth2, SAML, JWT, or related standards.
