Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Strategic Committee leaders, led by the lead Technical Architect, to create governance documents and procedures that ensure adherence to best practices. You will also work closely with functional leads to scope new custom development projects, assist in gathering initial requirements, and provide innovative solutions to meet evolving business demands. This role requires you to lead by example, offering mentorship and training to lead developers and scrum team members on advanced custom development techniques.

To excel in this role, you will need a strong command of the ServiceNow platform, particularly in areas such as App Engine, ATF, Instance Scan, Scope Applications, and the ServiceNow API ecosystem. Proficiency in coding languages and frameworks like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and ServiceNow MVC architecture is essential. You will also leverage tools such as ServiceNow Studio, Flow, Workspace, and Portal to design and implement scalable solutions. Your expertise in technical debt management, coding best practices, and Agile development methodologies will be critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable applications. Additionally, you will utilize advanced ServiceNow scripting techniques, including Glidescript, Gliderecord, and Glideajax, to develop custom solutions that align with organizational goals.

Success in this role will require a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills. You should have experience working with clients, leading development teams, and governing technical projects based on established methodologies and procedures. Your ability to recommend and implement new best practices, as well as collaborate with the lead architect to develop governance models, will be key to driving innovation and efficiency.
