Job Description:
  • The client is seeking an experienced SAP Material Master Consultant to support Material Master Management processes using SAP Best Practices.
  • The consultant will collaborate with business process owners to gather requirements, configure solutions, manage data governance, and support integration and conversion activities under the Production Planning (MFG) module.

  • Material Data Governance (MDG functional) nice to have.
  • Experience with Material Master under the Production Planning (MFG) Module.
  • Understanding of Material Master structure and key fields, with experience setting up master data to support various business scenarios.
  • Classification and Characteristics Management.
  • Interchangeability (FFFC).
  • Mapping of Material Masters from legacy systems to SAP.
  • Conversion of Material Masters from legacy systems to SAP, with troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with Document Info Records and document management systems.
  • Conceptual understanding of product interchangeability and supersession.
  • Functional Specification Authoring.
