Job Details

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant at the Solution Architect level to design, configure, and implement SAP TM solutions aligned with business logistics and supply chain needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in End-to-End Transportation Management, strong functional integration knowledge across SAP S/4HANA, EWM, SD, and MM, and proven experience in solution design, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP TM solution architecture and design for large-scale logistics and supply chain transformations.

  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and requirement workshops with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Configure SAP TM modules including Freight Order Management, Planning, Execution, and Charge Management.

  • Integrate SAP TM with EWM, S/4HANA, and external systems (carriers, 3PLs, freight forwarders).

  • Design and optimize Freight Settlement, Freight Agreement, and Transportation Planning processes.

  • Collaborate with ABAP and PI/PO/CPI teams for custom developments and system integrations.

  • Drive functional testing, UAT, and production cutover activities.

  • Provide expert-level solution governance, best practices, and continuous improvement recommendations.

  • Support data migration, master data setup, and transportation network configuration.

  • Ensure adherence to SAP TM global template and standardization guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years of overall SAP experience with 9+ years in SAP TM (Transportation Management).

  • Proven experience in SAP TM 9.x and/or S/4HANA Embedded TM.

  • Strong understanding of Freight Order, Freight Unit, Planning, and Execution processes.

  • Hands-on expertise in Charge Calculation Sheets, Freight Agreements, and Settlement Documents.

  • Solid integration knowledge with SAP EWM, SD, MM, and Finance.

  • Experience in Transportation Planning and Optimization (TPO) and Carrier Collaboration Portal (CCP).

  • Ability to lead solution design workshops, manage client expectations, and provide architectural oversight.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
