Job Title : Business Analyst

Duration: 6- Months

Location: Tallahassee, FL 32311 (On-site)

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business process and systems analysis
• Strong proficiency with:
• Process modeling tools (e.g., Visio)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SQL Queries and Data Analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (highly desired)

Knowledge of:

• Data migration practices
• Change & release management
• Testing & QA tools and techniques
• Florida Administrative Code (Rules 60GG-1 60GG-5) (preferred)
• Agile project environment experience preferred

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research and document FDOT business processes and system dependencies
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and joint analysis sessions
• Gather/document business and technical requirements in Azure DevOps
• Manage product backlog and user stories
• Coordinate with developers and data migration teams
• Develop test plans and coordinate QA activities
• Review deliverables for compliance with departmental standards

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
