Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
- Interacts with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs.
- Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards to promote a consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
- Leads and conducts business analysis to assess client s business problems and opportunities and documents requirements in a way that I&IT solutions can be determined.
- Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective delivery approaches.
- Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail aligned with project methodology and enterprise architecture.
- Develops strategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives.
- Develops processes for requirements gathering including JAD sessions, interviews, and mockups.
- Conducts business modeling, use case modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling, process and data flow modeling, surveys, business rules definition, and non-functional requirements definition.
- Monitors progress, resolves problems, and reports regularly to management and stakeholders.
- Develops performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation.
- Supports development of business architecture and logical architecture artifacts.
- Conducts sessions to verify artifacts, evaluate technologies, and create business domain artifacts.
- 10+ years of experience conducting requirements gathering and developing documentation.
- Experience with screen design and GUI design tools such as Balsamiq and Figma.
- Experience in structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies for requirements elicitation and specifications development.
- Strong project management capabilities including defining and managing sprint scope, outlining deliverables, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in negotiation, verbal and written communication, and working in team-based environments with a proven record of meeting deadlines.
- Experience developing business strategies, process re-engineering, and feasibility studies.
- Experience preparing business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
- Experience with JAD facilitation and process improvement.
- Experience with system enhancements and user training.
- Experience in UML and Computer Aided Software Engineering tools such as Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.
- Proven ability to develop presentation materials, briefing notes, and related documentation.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture standards and principles.
- Knowledge of corporate policy development, communications processes, and government-level reporting.
- Experience working on Document Candidateagement Systems, CRM systems, or HClient systems is an advantage.
- Experience with business functional modeling, business event modeling, and process mapping.
- Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation.
- Knowledge of AODA regulations and standards.
- Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
