Job Description:
Intro:
Seeking an experienced AWS cloud developer to provide support on a critical infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS Directory Service, AWS IAM Identity Center (formerly AWS SSO), and EC2 authentication mechanisms. Part-time role for 20 hours per week over a 10 week period. The selected candidate must be able to work remotely and coordinate with the project team during standard business hours.
Job Description:
- Implement and configure AWS IAM Identity Center with Common Access Card (CAC) authentication
- Set up CAC authentication for EC2 instances using AWS Systems Manager
- Configure and manage AWS Directory Service (AWS Managed Microsoft AD)
- Integrate with AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) for certificate management
- Implement AWS Organizations for multi-account management
- Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Document processes and provide knowledge transfer
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud development
- Experience implementing STIGS in Windows O/S
- Strong expertise in AWS Directory Service and Active Directory management
- Experience with AWS IAM, IAM Identity Center, and federation
- Proficiency with AWS Systems Manager and EC2 instance management
- Knowledge of AWS security services (AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Hub)
- Experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
- Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and logging
Preferred Requirements:
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification
- Experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations
- Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone architecture
- Experience with government/military AWS GovCloud environments
- Familiarity with RMF and FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
Requirements:
- AWS CLI and SDK
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Python or other scripting languages
- Git and version control
- Linux/Windows server administration
