Technical Delivery Manager

Technical Delivery Manager (Contract) Chicago, IL (Hybrid Remote) 16 Weeks

Our client is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager contractor to lead the delivery of key network security initiatives, including Zscaler PoC, Prisma Access deployment for the Japan market, and GRA enhancements. This role is part of the GTIO NIO (Network Infrastructure and Operations) team, collaborating with the Director of Global Network Security Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technical delivery of network and network security products for internal teams and business units.
• Oversee product backlogs and prioritize sprint-based deliveries.
• Track financials, budgets, schedules, and project reporting.
• Plan, execute, and deliver complex network/security products and platforms.
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage delivery plans, timelines, and progress against key milestones.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Empower and guide diverse technical teams under a shared vision.
• Apply consistent policies and standards to maximize delivery effectiveness.
• Measure performance and drive continuous improvement in delivery quality.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of product delivery or project management experience (network/security preferred).
• PMP, Prince2, and/or Agile (Scrum/SAFe) certification.
• Solid understanding of network and network security concepts (experience as Analyst, Engineer, or Architect desirable).
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, accountability, and adaptability in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Experience with Agile delivery, financial and budget tracking, and executive communications.

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor s degree, or 3+ years with a master s degree.
• Direct involvement with technologies such as SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless, SASE/SSE, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Prisma Access.
• Experience in retail or hospitality environments (a plus).
