job summary:

For this contractor assignment, the IT Associate Project Manager (APM) Lead applies project management skills and leadership competencies in the end-to-end delivery of projects. These can include high complexity projects, and/or subprojects of a large program or Program/Portfolio Management Office functions. Ensures the planning and execution phases meet the project scope, cost, schedule, and quality expectations approved by the project stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.

- Provides leadership and guidance to others for various methodologies (i.e. Agile (SCRUM), SDM and Waterfall)


- Broad Project Management Methodology experience both Traditional Waterfall and Agile, Adaptive and Hybrid.




qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or IT discipline and a minimum of four years related experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.


- In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience leading or facilitating formalized IT projects in application development, process, or infrastructure.

- Infrastructure, Applications, and Data Center Experience


Preferred skills and experiences:


- Change Management Methodologies - Current or past experience applying and executing Organizational Change Management principles


- Experience with Microsoft Project or Project Web Applications


- Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations


- Knowledge of testing and POC


- PMP certification


- Agile certifications
