Job Details

Job Title: Technical Support
Location: Detroit, MI, Fully Onsite, 5 days/week (Local candidates only)
Interview Type: Onsite, in-person interviews required Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in IT-related fields.
OR
Associates degree with 16 credits + 2 years of IT experience
OR
High school diploma + 4 years of related IT experience

Required Experience:

  • Information Technology Programmer/Analyst P11: Entry-level

  • Programmer/Analyst 12: 2 years of relevant professional experience

Job Description:
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support and diagnostics

  • Implement and support computer hardware, software, and network tools

  • Lead teams and oversee the creation of IT processes and procedures

  • Administer local servers, backups, user rights, and network security

  • Install and troubleshoot networking components

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT security standards

  • Participate in IT project planning, coordination, and reporting

Top Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of IT experience

  • 3+ years of customer service experience

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with network hardware/software

  • Onsite desktop and technical support

  • Server and LAN administration

  • Communication and leadership abilities
