Job Title: Sr. IT Analyst (Regulatory Medical Writing eSubmission) Location: 100% Remote (needs to work EST) Project Duration: 1 Year Pay Rate: $40-$55/Hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:
Looking for someone to join the Regulatory Medical Writing eSbubmission team from an IT perspective.
Mandatory Programmatic Skills
-Ability to manipulate Adobe Acrobat files programmatically, independent of the underlying technology or language, including:
-Merging multiple Acrobat PDF files
-Renaming or copying files based on internal or external inputs
-Updating and managing bookmarks (e.g., sorting, changing settings like zoom inheritance)
-Modifying hyperlinks (e.g., changing text colors, removing links)
-Applying text to existing documents (e.g., confidentiality statements)
-Self-QC of bookmarks based on content and other criteria
-PDF file optimization
-Reconciling files automatically against a narrative list
-Error recovery (e.g., handling interruptions mid-process)
-Logging and saving process logs
-Splitting work based on factors such as number of files, pages, or file sizes

Below are the skills required for developing Adobe Acrobat Plug-ins. While preferable, these are not mandatory, and if the same outcomes can be achieved through different technologies or programming languages, those alternatives are acceptable.

Preferable Skills:
-Proficiency in C/C++ for Adobe Acrobat Plug-in Development:
-Demonstrated experience in creating and deploying Adobe Acrobat plug-ins using C/C++.
-Ability to develop and compile plug-ins with Microsoft Visual Studio (Windows).
-Expertise in Adobe PDF Library SDK (Acrobat Core API):
-In-depth knowledge of the SDK for developing complex functionalities and ensuring seamless integration within Acrobat.
-Proficiency in C/C++ to leverage the SDK effectively.
Desirable Skills:
-JavaScript for Scripting and Automation:
-Experience in automating tasks and enhancing functionality within Acrobat using JavaScript.
-Interapplication Communication (IAC):
-Familiarity with facilitating communication between different applications.
Additional Skills / Preferences:
Visual Basic:
-Experience in maintaining and supporting existing tools built with Visual Basic.
-Project Management Skills:
-Proven ability to coordinate, plan, and execute technical projects efficiently.
