HYBRID 3 DAYS ON NYC
We are seeking a highly skilled Charles River Development (CRD) Subject Matter Expert to support the initial implementation as well as continuous improvement of the CRD Investment Management System for a growing alternative asset management firm. The ideal candidate brings deep CRD expertise across front and middle office operations and has experience supporting complex workflows for multi-asset and alternative strategies including public, private credit, and structured products.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the in-house CRD expert, advising investment, operations, compliance, and portfolio management teams on system capabilities and enhancements tailored to alternative asset classes.
• Support the implementation, customization, and upgrade of CRD modules (OMS, Compliance, Portfolio Management).
• Configure CRD to support bespoke trading strategies, credit waterfalls, non-standard instruments, and custom compliance rules.
• Work with internal app dev teams to help build integrations needed with CRD platform
• Provide ongoing CRD support, issue resolution, user training, and performance optimization.
• Maintain best practice documentation for CRD workflows, rule libraries, and change management.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• 8 - 10+ years of experience with Charles River in financial services or asset management setting.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments, including private credit, structured products, hedge funds, and derivatives.
• Experience configuring CRD OMS, PMS, compliance engine for private, public and real estate asset classes. Charles River certification or official training is strongly preferred.
