Job Details
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Columbia, South Carolina
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Approximately 25% remote work; On-site presence is highly preferred.)
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Mode of Interview: 1-2 interview rounds that will take place ONSITE.
Core Focus & Responsibilities
- IAM Management: Ensure proper implementation and configuration of Identity Management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Active Directory to support IT and security operations.
- Security Automation: Lead the development and implementation of automation integrating various security and enterprise IT tools.
- Solution Design: Plan, design, develop, and implement enterprise security solutions that align with business goals and risk tolerance.
- Threat Mitigation: Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures to known security threats and develop preventative strategies for new, emergent threats.
- Compliance: Validate and measure the consistent application of protective measures across business applications and infrastructure support environments.
Required Skills & Experience (5+ Years)
Candidates must possess an expert understanding and a minimum of five years of experience in the following areas:
- IAM Expertise: Identity and Access Control, Logging, and Reporting Systems.
- Automation Development: Expertise in automation development using tools such as Python and Bash.
- OS & Networking: Experience with Linux, Windows, network security protocols, and procedures.
- Environment Support: Experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments.
- Foundational Knowledge: Strong Cyber Security Awareness and understanding.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Frameworks: Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, or CMS MARS-E.
- Tools: SIEM Analysis and Reporting, Application Security (AppSec).
- Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISO, CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or equivalent advanced security certifications.
Education
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or Information Security related field OR Eight years of relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree.
