Description

Engineer, define, develop, implement and validate math-based and physics-based algorithms for current and next generation Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Electronic Control Units (ECUs) including Contactor Actuator Controls Ring (CACR), CACR Determine Contactor Modes; CACR Sequencer software component algorithms; CACR voltage sense software component; and Algorithm and state machine design, for embedded Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM) for global BEVs (passenger car, truck and sport utility vehicle), using MATLAB and Simulink models, autogenerated code in C, and in Embedded C programming language, using Git, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Model Development Kit (MDK), Gerrit, Jenkins, PacMan, ETAS INCA, and Artifactory tools, following Scaled Agile Frame (SAFe) methodology, for future model year vehicle programs, and global markets (North America, Europe, Japan, and China). Verify and test algorithms in Model in the Loop (MIL), Software in the Loop (SIL), and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) environments using MATLAB, Simulink, and GMSim tools and in vehicle using ETAS INCA and ETAS MDA tools.

Additional Description

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: designing or developing Electronic Control Unit (ECU) software, using MATLAB and Simulink models, autogenerated code in C or Embedded C programming language, using IBM Rational Rhapsody and Jenkins.
