Description
Experience with modern ERP software as well as experience with 3D design software and related file management software is required. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is highly recommended.
Responsibilities and projects include, but are not limited to:
Creating durable, long-lasting components and systems.
Specifying vendor components for use in designs and vetting for quality and support.
Creating and improving mechanical models and drawings.
Maintaining accurate product-related engineering data.
Coordinating drawing, part and BOM information with our ERP system.
Recommending methods of manufacture and integrating into Bill Of Manufacturing (BOM).
Ensuring BOMs are accurate to latest revisions.
Updating part information in AutoCAD and ERP system, in accordance with approved engineering change order (ECO) requests.
Ensuring engineering output satisfies manufacturing criteria.
Understanding modern applications and methods relating to engineering industry standards and software and identifying opportunities to improve department function.
Promoting a team environment with engineers and other departments.
Promoting a commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service from the department.
