Oracle CC&B Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle CC&B Developer to design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the CC&B data model and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) to customize, integrate, and optimize the system to meet business requirements. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Customization:
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations within the Oracle CC&B application, including Batch processes, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, and Business Services.
- Write complex code using Java, PL/SQL, and other relevant technologies to extend and enhance CC&B functionalities.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of CC&B applications and batch processes.
- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs and specifications.
- Integration:
- Integrate Oracle CC&B with other enterprise applications and external systems using Inbound/Outbound Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, and other integration methodologies.
- Collaborate with other development teams to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to the Oracle CC&B platform.
- Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and releases.
- Support production and batch run processes, including on-call support as needed.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and support guides.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- [Number] years of hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) development.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Expertise in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Proven experience with Oracle CC&B customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, and Business Services.
- Familiarity with WebLogic Server, Hibernate, and scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Shell).
- Solid understanding of web services (SOAP/REST), XML, and JSON.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Oracle Utilities products (e.g., Meter Data Management - MDM, Customer to Meter - C2M).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with code management tools like Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Oracle Utilities certification is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise schedulers (e.g., Cisco TIDAL).
