Job Description
We are seeking a Senior SQL Database Contractor for a temporary position with a leading technology-driven organization. This role is based remotely with collaboration across distributed teams. You will play a key role in ensuring SQL Server database performance, optimization, and scalability, while working closely with developers, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams (Azure).

Contract Duration: 2-3 months
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of database administration and management experience
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL (Azure SQL preferred)
Strong experience with cloud database technologies (Azure strongly preferred)
Deep expertise in performance monitoring, query tuning, indexing, and optimization
Knowledge of backup/restore strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with automation of database operations
Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members
Prior experience in fast-paced or regulated environments
