Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a self-starter with deep technical expertise in data center operations and network engineering. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding, operating, and automating our state-of-the-art Data Center. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ongoing expansion and operations of the data center infrastructure, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
  • Design and manage network configurations, including routing, switching, and firewall setups using Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches and ISR routers.
  • Implement dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP to optimize network efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and maintain virtual network environments using VMware technologies, ensuring seamless operation and integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network operations and project requirements.
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to improve existing systems and processes.

Qualifications:
  • CCNP or CCIE Certification (R&S and/or DC) is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Center Operations and Production Network Operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience with various Operating Systems including Windows, Linux, and Cisco network operating systems.
  • Proven expertise in managing Cisco Nexus 2000, 3000, 5000, 7000, 9000 series, and Catalyst 9000 switches.
  • Strong experience with ISR 4000 and 1000 routers, ASA and Firepower Firewalls, and VMWare UCS server management.
  • Hands-on experience with client and site-to-site VPN solutions, and virtual machine networking with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
  • Knowledgeable in Cisco ACI and comfortable working in a segmented and virtualized network environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical details clearly.
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
