Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, high-performing systems and applications. The role involves working closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across the enterprise ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in performance engineering, system architecture, and troubleshooting complex performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the performance architecture strategy for applications and systems.

  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to design scalable and resilient architectures.

  • Establish performance benchmarks, KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs.

  • Lead capacity planning, scalability analysis, and workload modeling.

  • Perform end-to-end performance assessments including load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks in application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.

  • Recommend and implement performance tuning techniques for applications, databases, APIs, caching layers, and networks.

  • Drive adoption of best practices in performance engineering throughout the SDLC.

  • Provide guidance on cloud performance optimization (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Develop tools, frameworks, and automation to support continuous performance testing and monitoring.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to forecast demand and align systems for high availability and disaster recovery.

  • Mentor and guide engineering teams on performance-first design principles.
