SAIC is seeking a Software Tester for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program based out of Panama City, FL.
The Software Tester will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Requirement for Operation and Maintenance support is typically 5 days a week for each C4I FoS fielded system. Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week per person may be required during contingency operations (deployments or exercises), an alternate work schedule may be required to support 24/7 operations. Typical core hours are 0800 to 1700.

Description
SAIC is seeking a Software Tester for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program based out of Panama City, FL.

- Provide IT support to expeditionary C2 and C4I military systems.
- Work on deployable IT systems that communicate over satellite.
- Testing of new software and technology.
- Creation of trouble tickets and reporting of issues and actions taken daily and weekly.
- Communicate effectively with test directors and other personnel via phone, email, chat, etc.
- Maintaining test materials and documentation as required.
- Training computer users and assistants.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; ship required.
Required Skills:
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2019, or newer.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Roles and Features related to Enterprise services.
Desired Skills or Required Certifications:
- DoD 8570 Baseline Cybersecurity Certification such as CompTIA Security+ (must have prior to hire).
- IAT Level II or above certification in addition to baseline cyber certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
