Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various healthcare and business systems.

  • Query, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).

  • Develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

  • Work with EHR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts) to extract structured and unstructured healthcare data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—clinical, IT, and operations—to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA).

  • Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Support data governance initiatives and documentation of data sources, transformations, and business logic.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.

  • Advanced SQL skills for querying, joining, and optimizing data from multiple sources.

  • Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development).

  • Hands-on Python experience for data wrangling and automation (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).

  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools (SSIS, Informatica, or similar).

  • Experience with EHR systems or healthcare datasets (HL7, FHIR, etc.).

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and data storytelling skills.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
