Role: Senior .NET Developer W2 Only
Location: Columbia, SC- Hybrid
Duration: One Year contract with possibility of extensions

Project Overview: This role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of robust, secure, and scalable software systems that support agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement medium to large-scale software systems using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Develop data-driven applications integrating relational databases with scalable application architecture.
• Build and deploy enterprise-level, web-based software using N-tier architecture and advanced security models.
• Analyze, document, and communicate software design and implementation decisions effectively with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff, including DSS and other state IT personnel.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Utilize agile methodologies and DevOps tools for project execution and continuous integration.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET architecture, C#, ASP.NET.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications using relational databases (MS SQL 2016/2019 preferred).
• 5+ years of experience building scalable, secure, web-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and enterprise server technologies (application, database, messaging, and web servers).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing software components and subsystems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance, security, and regression testing tools.
