What would you do?

Position: Data Analyst/Data Integration Engineer

Location: Mclean VA(5 days onsite in a week)

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL): Front-end the delivery of processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from disparate sources into a form consumable by analytics processes for moderately complex projects. Utilize strong technical capabilities and ensure database performance optimization.
• Dimensional Data Modelling: Apply sound understanding of dimensional data modelling standards and best practices to ensure high-quality data structures.
• Batch Processing: Design efficient processes for handling high volumes of data where transactions are collected over a defined period.
• Data Integration (Sourcing, Storage, and Migration): Design and implement models, capabilities, and solutions to manage enterprise data (structured and unstructured). This includes data archiving principles, data warehousing, data sourcing, and the migration of data between systems.
• Data Quality, Profiling, and Cleansing: Review and profile datasets to establish their quality against defined parameters. Highlight and remediate data requiring corrective actions.
• Stream Systems: Discover, integrate, and ingest data from machines in real-time, regardless of format or quality.
• Interpersonal Skills: Build networks across various departments to understand data needs and deliver business value. Interface and communicate with program teams, management, and stakeholders as required to deliver small to medium-sized projects.
