Position Summary: FIS Trax Application Support Specialist

The team is seeking a FIS Trax Application Support Specialist for a short-term contract role through end of August (with potential extension or conversion if the candidate proves to be a strong fit). This is a critical backfill for a small but essential payments team responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the FIS Trax platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Monitoring: Oversee payments (primarily manually submitted) to ensure they are processed and successfully reach the bank.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve system failures, identify and correct issues, and respond to a handful of incidents daily varies depending on activity.
• User Support: Collaborate with internal users to correct submission errors and support payment processing.
• Configuration Work: Maintain and update configurations within the FIS Trax environment, including onboarding new banks or payment types.
• Bank Interaction: Engage directly with banks to gather documentation and resolve issues requires initiative and independence.
• Functional Testing: Perform testing for configuration changes and fixes as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain appropriate documentation related to configurations and updates.

Required Skills & Experience

• Deep hands-on experience with FIS Trax is essential familiarity with the platform implies knowledge of payment processing fundamentals.
• Self-starter who can operate independently with minimal oversight; able to troubleshoot via trial and error when necessary.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Familiarity with SWIFT network is a plus.
• Experience with Kyriba or similar payment platforms is helpful but not required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with stakeholder and bank communications.
• Exposure to configuration documentation, functional testing, and application support environments.
