Contract Duration: 6-months
Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Compensation: $52.00 - $86.00 per hour

What you ll do as the Java Engineer:

  • Develop and maintain scalable back-end systems using Java, Groovy, and Kotlin
  • Build and enhance microservices and APIs within a Spring Boot framework
  • Support modernization efforts by transitioning away from legacy technologies
  • Consume and process inventory events using Kafka for efficient data movement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and new features
  • Utilize Postgres and Cassandra for data storage and caching solutions
  • Contribute to front-end integration using React where applicable
  • Support ongoing inventory-related engineering efforts


What you ll bring to the Java Engineer role:

  • Proficiency in Java and Groovy for back-end development
  • Experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging
  • Solid knowledge of Postgres and Cassandra databases
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and modern development frameworks
  • Familiarity with React and front-end collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to modernizing infrastructure
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, evolving engineering environment
