Job Description:

Position Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining existing applications and developing new applications supported by FDM on FIN360 platforms for various Finance & Accounting business teams, including E&I, C&S, M&R, A&C, and Regulatory.

Team Overview

The candidate will join the DS3 Solution Delivery team within FDM, which consists of 4 agile teams totalling approximately 25 developers (onshore and offshore).
Primary focus: Development and maintenance of finance and accounting data processing, reporting applications, and automation for Controllership.
Core skills in the team:
  • SAS
  • Python
  • SQL for relational databases (Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server)
    Team culture: Collaborative, agile-driven, and focused on delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to:
  1. Design, develop, test, and deploy data analytics programs and processes using SAS and relational databases.
  2. Collect, interpret, and aggregate data from traditional and non-traditional sources for analytics purposes.
  3. Understand business requirements and develop data tools such as dashboards and visualizations.
  4. Utilize BI tools, data visualization, query, analytic, and statistical software to build solutions and interpret data.
  5. Solve moderately complex problems and translate concepts into practice.
  6. Identify issues and recommend solutions proactively.
  7. Work under minimal guidance and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Interact effectively with business users for new projects, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  9. Adopt a structured approach for requirements gathering and documentation.
  10. Create and maintain high-level design, detailed design, implementation guides, and SOPs.
  11. Perform production support tasks, including job monitoring, failure resolution, data analysis, and root cause analysis.


Ideal Candidate Background
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory.


Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Analytics, Data Science, or IT.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years programming with BASE SAS, SAS/Macros, Proc SQL.
    • 5+ years in data analysis (large datasets, multiple relational databases).
    • 5+ years writing SQL queries.
    • 2+ years programming in Python.
  • Strong understanding of modern large-scale data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and ML features.
  • Demonstrated financial, analytical, and business acumen.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.


Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Advanced SAS programming certification.
  • 2+ years experience with Power BI for dashboards and visualizations.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Databricks experience.
