Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst in Syracuse, New York. This role involves bridging the gap between technology and business operations, ensuring that our systems are optimized to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to system management while driving strategic improvements.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of business systems, ensuring they align with the company's objectives.

Act as the liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure seamless communication and understanding.

Oversee the integration of EDI and ERP systems and other platforms.

Evaluate and implement enhancements to ERP System.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system management.

Requirements

This role requires 5+ years of experience in IT or systems-related positions, with at least 2 years focused on business applications or enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ERP, WMS, EDI, and eCommerce systems, with a preference for experience integrating these platforms. They should demonstrate proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholders across multiple departments, as well as experience working with third-party vendors and technical consultants. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-process mindset, excellent communication and documentation abilities, and familiarity with SQL, APIs, or basic data structures are essential. Additionally, this candidate should possess excellent project management skills, including expertise in budget forecasting and managing timelines.
