Job Summary:
We seek a highly organized and hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support and coordinate with remote teams to ensure smooth IT operations. This role involves end-to-end support of hardware/software, asset lifecycle management, and user onboarding/offboarding activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple support functions simultaneously at the local site.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support for end-user devices and escalate complex issues to remote support groups when needed.
Handle hardware and software troubleshooting, including PCs, printers, meeting room equipment, and other peripherals.
Coordinate vendor access, system downtimes, and technical visits at the local site.
Manage local IT inventories of equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
Oversee the entire laptop lifecycle, including provisioning, deployment, onboarding, offboarding, and decommissioning.
Maintain accurate asset and inventory records, ensuring timely updates and tracking of all end-user equipment.
Deliver concierge and depot support services at designated WKKC locations.
Support and manage peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, handhelds, power cords, keyboards, portable monitors, etc.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and users to provide high-quality and timely support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or End-User Computing (EUC) roles.
Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and repairs (PCs, laptops, printers).
Familiarity with asset management tools and practices.
Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes and handling IT equipment logistics.
Ability to coordinate vendors and manage physical site logistics.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Knowledge of basic networking concepts is a plus.
Prior experience in a concierge IT support model is advantageous
