About the Role

We re looking for a visionary Sr. Director of AI & Data Science to lead a high-impact team driving AI adoption across a global enterprise. This is a strategic leadership role at the forefront of artificial intelligence, analytics, and digital transformation, with measurable influence on business outcomes and innovation.

The ideal candidate is a transformational leader with experience in building and scaling data science teams, aligning AI initiatives with business value, and collaborating with senior executives to modernize and optimize operations through cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of 16 data scientists, transitioning from a regional to global model

• Partner with senior business leaders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities

• Champion AI at scale ensuring initiatives deliver real, measurable business value

• Translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear, actionable business strategies

• Advocate for responsible and ethical AI practices across all initiatives

• Drive the adoption of modern ML/AI tools and methodologies

• Oversee AI product delivery, ensuring compliance, value delivery, and scalability

• Build a strong internal AI/analytics community of practice

• Manage a significant AI budget and demonstrate ROI through transformation efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor s in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in AI, ML, and advanced analytics

• Proven leadership of cross-functional data science teams

• Proficiency in at least two ML paradigms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning)

• Experience influencing senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders

• Master s or PhD in a quantitative field

• 5+ years leading data science/AI teams

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD, and distributed computing

• Background in Commercial, Sales, or Agriculture industries

• Prior success driving AI/Analytics transformation at scale

• Strong EQ and communication skills for executive engagement
