Job Details







We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer with deep expertise in Apple/Mac environments to lead and architect our client's enterprise Mac strategy. This is a hands-on role focused on Level 2-3 escalations, scripting, and JAMF administration, while also setting standards and best practices for the team. You will be the go-to expert for complex issues and play a key role in shaping our Mac infrastructure.



  • Onsite, M-F in Ann Arbor, MI

  • Minimum 1-year contract; potential for extension or conversion to full-time.


Key Responsibilities



  • Serve as the architect and lead for Mac systems within corporate IT.

  • Handle escalated Level 2-3 tickets and provide guidance to Level 1 support.

  • Develop runbooks, triage documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Manage corporate patching for macOS and third-party packages.

  • Administer and optimize JAMF Cloud (including Installomator and JAMF Connect).

  • Collaborate with engineering teams in a technical, fast-paced environment.


Required Skills & Experience



  • 7+ years of experience as an IT Administrator or Desktop Engineer

  • Demonstrated expertise with Mac: 80% of work focused on Apple devices.

  • At least 3 years of experience JAMF Administration

  • JAMF Cloud experience is a huge plus

  • JAMF certifications (200/300 preferred)

  • Scripting: Unix/Linux (Bash, Python)

  • Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, troubleshooting

  • SysAdmin Skills: Enterprise-level Mac administration

  • Familiarity with Okta (Identity Management) and ServiceNow (ticketing system).

  • Strong commitment to professionalism
