As a Software Engineer on the watchOS Wallet & Apple Pay team, you'll partner with teams across the company to solve technical challenges and build amazing new features that users use every day.
Description As a member of team you will have many responsibilities relating to the design, development, and testing of device software. These include: - Writing high-quality, well-tested, and performant code to enable new features. - Architecting systems that are extensible, adaptable, and stand the test of time. - Collaborating with Design, Product Marketing, NFC, QA, and other cross-functional engineering teams on technical and product decisions. - Creating amazing experiences on low-powered, highly-constrained platforms.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years Industry experience in Cocoa and Objective-C or Swift coding ability
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Consistent record of completing projects on-time and to specification
- You have experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack
- Experience contributing to at least one application or framework
- Systems knowledge, hands-on experience with inter-process communication
- You are upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
- You have excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Fantastic attention to detail

- SwiftUI and Swift Standard Library design patterns
- Extensive knowledge on performance tuning
- Other declarative UI frameworks
- UI/UX design
- Technical writing
