We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Data Engineer Snowflake work on Remote basis.
PAY Rate: $45-$50/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with analytics, data science, and business teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake as the primary data warehouse
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data
- Develop data models, schemas, and transformations for analytics and reporting
- Implement performance tuning, query optimization, and cost optimization in Snowflake
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and cloud storage
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and production incidents
- Document data architecture, workflows, and best practices
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Informatica, Matillion, Talend, Airflow, etc.)
- Programming experience in Python (preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and optimization
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
