We are seeking a Software Engineer (Platform Engineering) to lead the design, development, and implementation of our DevOps and delivery platforms. This role involves hands-on engineering of tools, integrations, and microservices that streamline IT delivery-from planning and code check-ins to deployment and change tracking. You will collaborate closely with software engineering and other technical teams to build automated pipelines and interfaces that enhance speed, reliability, and traceability across the development lifecycle. Deep expertise in APIs, programming interfaces, and cross-platform integrations is essential, along with a passion for crafting scalable, maintainable solutions that drive operational excellence.

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Platform Engineering) to lead the design, development, and implementation of our DevOps and delivery platforms. This role involves hands-on engineering of tools, integrations, and microservices that streamline IT delivery-from planning and code check-ins to deployment and change tracking. Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for DevOps and delivery tools.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Mentor engineers and foster technical growth across the team.
- Facilitate technical discussions and presentations to share knowledge and align teams.
- Coordinate efforts across departments to ensure cohesive delivery pipelines.
- Act as a technical advisor and reviewer for critical projects.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation for solutions and integrations.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy in team interactions.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement leveraging Cloud and CNCF frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Senior level applied scripting/programming experience with languages such as Java, Typescript, JavaScript, Python, Bash, YAML, and React framework.
- Experience in micro-service development and container-based technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong experience with Object Oriented Programming languages and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
- Experience with deployment and release orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Working knowledge and experience with database admin and language basics such as SQL and MySQL and/or Mongo.
- Strong experience with IaC and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
