Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Corinth, Texas. This is a long-term contract opportunity for individuals passionate about managing and maintaining IT infrastructure in a dynamic transport industry environment. The role primarily supports both operational and project-based teams, ensuring systems run efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily system administration tasks, ensuring uninterrupted system functionality.

Manage incident reports and access requests to maintain system integrity.

Perform regular server patching, backups, and vulnerability assessments.

Provide VDI or thin client support enabling smooth operations for users.

Provide infrastructure support for project teams, enabling smooth operations and development.

Administer Windows Server environments and maintain Active Directory configurations.

Handle Citrix XenApp session management and perform basic modifications as needed.

Support NetApp storage systems with basic troubleshooting and management.

Collaborate with network security engineers to maintain secure operations.

Address Linux-related tasks when applicable, though not mandatory.

Participate in technical interviews and meetings to assess system performance.

Requirements

Proven experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
Familiarity with basic NetApp storage management.
Hands-on experience with Citrix technologies, including session management.
Knowledge of Cisco, Dell, and Firewall technologies.
Proficiency in backup and clustering technologies.
Exposure to cloud computing environments.
Strong understanding of computer hardware and infrastructure.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. due to security clearance protocols.
