Job Description

Seeking an experienced Mulesoft Architect / Senior Developer for a 6-month contract to drive platform enhancements and best practices across our MuleSoft environment. The position is hands-on and requires proven expertise in both architecture and advanced development.

Responsibilities

Design and develop integration solutions leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Architect and implement APIs using RAML and RESTful principles.

Define and enforce MuleSoft platform standards, best practices, and development processes.

Lead code reviews and mentor development teams.

Build CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments.

Implement microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.

Ensure API security (OAuth, JWT, TLS) and governance processes are followed.

Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution design.

Provide proactive thought leadership and technical guidance for developers.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.

Required Skills

Deep, hands-on understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform architecture.

Extensive experience designing and implementing APIs with RAML/REST.

Strong proficiency with integration patterns and microservices architecture.

Experience building CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft.

Advanced knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, JWT, TLS) and governance.

Ability to set and maintain MuleSoft best practices.

Proven track record in leading code reviews and mentoring staff.

Excellent proactive communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years' experience in integration architecture; 5+ years with MuleSoft.

Experience with API management and deployment in enterprise environments.

Prior leadership in MuleSoft architectural initiatives.

Experience with event-driven systems and cloud deployments.
