Title: Software Engineer AD/ADAS Vehicle Platform

Location: Palo Alto, CA, Seattle, WA or Ann Arbor, MI (ONSITE ROLE - NO HYBRID)

Duration: 6-12+ Months

About the Role

  • We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our AD/ADAS vehicle platform team. In this role, you'll work hands-on across the full technology stack-integrating compute hardware, sensors, and operating systems-to design, implement, test, and ship production-quality software. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where
  • your contributions will directly impact platform uptime and performance in next- generation vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and integrate features into the AD/ADAS vehicle platform.
  • Diagnose root causes and resolve platform issues impacting uptime in sensor- and vehicle-connected software.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on software tied to OS, compute hardware, sensors, and vehicles.
  • Develop solutions using sound design principles with scalability, extensibility, and safety in mind.
  • Learn and contribute across the technology stack, from embedded systems to high-level applications.

Qualifications

  • 3 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Proven experience shipping software to production in automotive (preferred) or related fields such as aerospace, defense, or robotics.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (highly preferred).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with embedded software and systems (automotive, aerospace, robotics, etc.) and interfaces such as Ethernet or CAN.
  • System software development experience (drivers, filesystems, sockets) on Linux and/or QNX.
