We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant to join our team, specializing in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu system administration, shell scripting, CRON, SFTP, Red Hat Satellite, and Ubuntu Landscape. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, implement, and manage RHEL and Ubuntu-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
* Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate tasks, streamline processes, and improve system efficiency
* Configure and manage CRON jobs to schedule tasks, monitor system logs, and perform routine maintenance
* Utilize SFTP to securely transfer files and manage access to systems
* Implement and manage Red Hat Satellite and Ubuntu Landscape to streamline system management and deployment
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in system administration and automation

* Familiarity with SFTP and secure file transfer protocols
* Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite and Ubuntu Landscape, including deployment and management
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in system administration and automation
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
