Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual (Japanese/English) Security Project Manager to lead a strategic security initiative focused on building a new authentication platform in the U.S. This role requires strong project management skills, technical understanding of security solutions, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across geographies.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects involving Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Universal Login, and AWS/cloud technologies. While working from the Torrance, CA office is preferred, remote work is an option for bilingual candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of the security project lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets (labor and non-labor).
Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Monitor and control project scope, risks, and critical paths.
Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to leadership.
Facilitate communication between Japanese and English-speaking teams and stakeholders.
Ensure efficient resource utilization and timely delivery of project milestones.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of MFA, Universal Login, and AWS/cloud-based solutions.
Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT security or infrastructure.
Proven experience leading projects involving MFA, Universal Login, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Fluent in English; Japanese language proficiency strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of security protocols, identity management, and authentication technologies.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with international teams, especially Japan-based stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
