we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

Roles/Responsibilities:
- Milestone Deliverables
- Meet with project stakeholders (vendors, supervisors) within two weeks of assignment
- Submit first draft of project plan within four weeks, including review with team and leadership
- Finalize project plan by week five
- Provide initial status update within two weeks of assignment and weekly thereafter
- Ensure on-time delivery of all assigned projects; notify leadership within 24 hours if deadlines are at risk
- Complete project closeout within one week of project completion
- Additional deliverables to be defined as needed
- Daily/Weekly Expectations
- Lead daily or weekly project meetings
- Distribute meeting notes using the approved template within 24 hours
- Track and meet timelines and deliverables as outlined in the project plan
- Report roadblocks to the designated supervisor within 24 hours of identification
- Represent project changes at the weekly Change Management Board (Tuesdays)
- Update the weekly project spreadsheet and ServiceNow by the designated deadline
- Attend weekly Microsoft Teams meetings with PMs and Supervisors, and all team meetings; notify the appropriate supervisor if unable to attend
- Incorporate direct feedback promptly into project processes
- Additional Responsibilities
- Develop project documentation including requirements, plans, and schedules
- Collaborate with supervisors to allocate resources effectively
- Coordinate communications with internal County departments and staff
- Align efforts across internal and external departments
- Promote adoption of modern technologies among frontline employees
- Create tailored change communications and training materials for diverse audiences
- Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders weekly
- Follow established change management protocols
- Contribute to project success through proactive suggestions and team collaboration
- Maintain the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in the Information Technology field
- Minimum of 10 years as a Project Manager overseeing technical IT projects
- At least 3 years of experience working in local government
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Proven ability to organize and lead technical focus groups in Infrastructure, Network Systems, and Desktop Services
- Demonstrated experience resolving conflicts in group settings to foster collaboration and team cohesion
- Communication & Documentation:
- Skilled in developing both technical and user-friendly communications
- Experienced in documenting technical requirements, creating project plans, and tracking progress using ServiceNow
- Project Management:
- Capable of managing 5 15 projects simultaneously
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and dynamic project environments
Desirable Skills:
- Ability to work in a Balanced Matrix environment, with tenured resources and evolving priorities.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English should demonstrate fluency in both oral and writing communicants.
- At a minimum, have fundamental knowledge of: Infrastructure, Server based projects, Active Directory,
- Patching, Disaster Recovery, Windows, Cloud Technologies, and Virtual Call Center projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders as well as internal staff.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities, proactive/positive team player, resourceful and innovative.
- Pass a stringent criminal background check
