Job Title: IBM Sterling Integrator Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Integrator Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of integration frameworks, hands-on experience with Sterling Integrator, and the ability to architect robust and scalable B2B solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement end-to-end B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI).
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
Lead the development, configuration, and deployment of Sterling maps, business processes, adapters, and protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP, HTTP).
Develop integration frameworks to support onboarding of trading partners and automate document flows (EDI, XML, Flat File).
Provide technical leadership and best practices for Sterling platform enhancements and upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, performance tuning, and system errors.
Oversee testing (unit, system, UAT) and ensure quality assurance of deliverables.
Create detailed technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to support teams.
Stay updated with IBM Sterling product releases and related B2B integration trends.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of experience with B2B integration technologies.
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and trading partner onboarding.
Proficient in developing maps, business processes, and custom services in Sterling.
Experience with communication protocols such as AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, and VANs.
Familiarity with databases (Oracle, DB2), UNIX/Linux environments, and scripting.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
IBM Sterling certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Sterling B2B Integrator).
Experience with Sterling File Gateway, Control Center, or Secure Proxy.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and version control (Git).
Exposure to cloud integration or hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure).
