  • Job Description: SAP eSPP or SPP functional consultant role for Aftermarket support analyst Role
Identify & Analyze Business needs, Requirements gathering, Defining Scope and supporting all aspects of SAP SPP (Service Parts Planning) module.
Perform Configuration, modification of Planning Service Manager (PSM) for native SPP services with in-depth knowledge of Customizing Service/Process profiles.
Triggering Mechanisms and PSM log troubleshooting.
Possess strong knowledge of the Core Interface (CIF), Bill of Distribution (BOD), Distributed Requirements Planning (DRP), Forecasting models and techniques.
Maintain CIF Integration Models for Master and Transaction Data transfer between ECC and SPP with experience in monitoring CIF errors using the qRFC monitor.
Good understanding of using BADI implementation for CIF enhancements.
Develop tier down approach to Allocate Stock as per Inventory balancing and Deployment Strategies across Network.
Ability to configure Stocking Decisions using service TSL's and Sales demand.
Understanding on the usage of Bill of Materials (BOM), Economic Order quantity (EOQ) and Safety Stock values in conjunction with reorder-based vs period-based planning.
Possess strong knowledge of approvals and freeze horizons for schedule releases, planned orders and purchase requisitions.
In-depth knowledge of Releases and Scheduling Agreement to facilitate data transfer between SPP & ECC with embedded PP module.
Experience in maintaining ECC specific Bill of Materials (BOM) with good understanding of usage, Item categories, Alternate BOM's and Routing.
Maintain appropriate Documentation to reflect application design, life cycles, and configuration of changes.
Also, basic knowledge of SD/MM/PP as needed, and any related tools used in accomplishing these goals.
