Job Title: Amazon Connect Developer - AWS Contact Center, TypeScript, Python, IAM
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid )
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Amazon Connect Developer with extensive expertise in contact center solutions and software development. This role involves designing, developing, deploying, and migrating scalable contact center solutions utilizing Amazon Connect. The candidate will also configure complex integrations with Amazon Lex and Lambda, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. A strong understanding of Agile Methodology and proficiency in TypeScript/Python is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Amazon Connect solutions at scale.
- Configure and manage Contact Flows, Queues, and Routing Profiles, including complex integrations with Amazon Lex and AWS Lambda.
- Cloud Services:
- Work with DynamoDB, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail for monitoring and managing contact center operations.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Amazon IAM concepts to configure and troubleshoot contact flows and resolve CCP-related issues.
- Documentation & Collaboration:
- Write high-quality technical design documents, lead review sessions with customers, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and project success.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Debug issues and resolve problems professionally in a timely manner.
- Agile Methodology:
- Work on projects aligned with Agile practices, ensuring smooth delivery within sprint timelines.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of software development experience, including hands-on work with TypeScript and Python.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Amazon Connect as a contact center lead or developer.
- Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and migrating contact center solutions.
- Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS CloudTrail.
- Strong understanding of Amazon IAM concepts for configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to create high-quality documentation and lead technical review sessions.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with complex integrations (e.g., Amazon Lex and Lambda).
- Experience working in Agile Methodology
