QA Lead Los Angeles, CA - hybrid

Results-driven QA leader with experience managing enterprise-wide software testing and automation across Finance, Automotive, and Technology domains. Adept at building and leading global QA teams, defining testing standards, and implementing scalable automation frameworks to ensure high-quality product delivery. Proven expertise in aligning QA strategies with business objectives, optimizing processes, and driving efficiency through CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee QA activities, including functional, non-functional, manual, automation, and UAT testing.

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and best practices across multiple products.

  • Partner with engineering, business, and leadership teams to align QA strategies with organizational objectives.

  • Manage full software testing lifecycle planning, execution, defect triage, reporting, and release support.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TOSCA, BDD frameworks).

  • Collect and analyze QA metrics to identify improvement areas and ensure efficiency.

  • Manage global QA teams and vendor partnerships, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance oversight.

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, security policies, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with proven leadership in large-scale testing initiatives.

  • Hands-on expertise in automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, TOSCA, BDD, Hybrid frameworks, CI/CD).

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS applications, cloud environments (AWS), ETL, Mobile, Web, and enterprise products.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and team leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to deliver QA excellence across global teams with measurable ROI.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Financial Services, Automotive, Healthcare, or Technology domains.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) practices.

  • Ability to manage multi-million-dollar QA programs and vendor contracts.
