- Title: Application Development - Front End Developer (Java Script) III
- Location: PAP35 - PA - Philadelphia, 1800 Arch St
- Contract: W2 only, 6 month contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion with either the client or CEI
- Pay: $55 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
This position involves working on the development, deployment, and maintenance of web pages within a large team environment. The project focuses on creating pixel-perfect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interfaces to enhance user experience, with immediate impact on brand engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate work into pixel-perfect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Assist in project management through design, development, and QA phases
- Work with various CMS and e-commerce systems and frameworks
- Code software applications supporting internal and external business requirements in accordance with designs
- Standardize quality assurance procedures for software and oversee testing processes, developing fixes as needed
- Contribute to progressive redesign and maintenance projects
- Develop new user-facing features and optimize application speed and scalability
- Validate user input before backend submission
- Participate in code reviews and enable/configure necessary plugins to support site functionality
- Identify blockers and implement creative solutions within company guidelines
- Stay updated on current web development trends
- May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 5 to 8 years of experience in the field or a related area
- Knowledge of standard front-end development concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Lightning JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
- Ability to work under the supervision of a project leader or manager
- Experience with NodeJS
- 6+ years of experience in development and deployment of web pages
- Familiarity with large team development and maintenance processes
