We are seeking a Power Architect for one of our clients in Fremont, California. This role will design and define power connector, whip, and liquid-cooled busbar architectures for next-generation AI servers and rack systems. The position focuses on ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards while supporting high-current, high-density AI workloads.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize power distribution systems (connectors, busbars, whips) for AI/HPC platforms.
Develop power modeling tools and conduct performance vs. power analyses.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and thermal management standards.
Collaborate with Sales, PLM, and R&D on product roadmaps and customer solutions.
Represent the company in OCP, OIF, and IEEE for technology standardization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering (Master s preferred).
10+ years in power architecture for high-density or AI/data center systems.
Expertise in high-current design (up to 3,000A) and thermal management.
Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards, CAD tools, and system validation.
Experience working with OEMs, chip vendors, and AI hardware platforms.
