Position Summary
The Mobile Apps Platform team is building a platform to enable customer facing, native iOS and Android teams within CVS Digital to quickly and easily build, test and deliver experiences into the hands of our customers, all at the scale of a Fortune 6 company!
We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile Platforms passionate about building tools, libraries, and processes that reduce toil, improve developer experience, reduce cognitive load, and accelerate delivery of features. This is a new team which presents a unique opportunity! You get to help build the team from the ground up, work with leadership and product to define a roadmap, and help create a strong team culture. You'll be responsible for hiring and managing a high performing team of native mobile engineers. The platform we're building will be leveraged by hundreds of engineers building apps used by millions of customers. Our mobile apps teams are cross platform - native iOS and Android. You will lead an engineering team in an agile environment, building solutions and working closely with product and stakeholders across engineering, architecture, security, accessibility, and design.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our mobile platform team, consisting of talented iOS and Android engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the team in building essential client observability libraries and feature flagging libraries, while also addressing technical debt and optimizing our applications. You will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience, directly managing individual contributors.
- 3+ years of experience building mobile applications.
- 2+ years of experience working with highly available, large scale, high performing applications.
- 2+ years of experience working on a project using mature CI/CD practices, source control such as git, and automated testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Experience working in Platform engineering teams
- Experience working in Observability and Feature Flagging Platforms
- Proficiency in mobile technologies for the entire SDLC.
- Experience partnering with product to deliver products.
- Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills.
- Awareness of new and emerging technologies.
- Experience in Agile /Scrum
Education
- Bachelor's degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
