Job Description:

• Our Client is currently recruiting for a Junior Software Developer for an internship/entry level opportunity with our client in Modesto. The ideal candidate will have a Github profile with code for review and experience with mobile and web development (Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, HTML/HTML5)

Responsibilities:

Web and Mobile Development:

• Strong design and development skills


• Programming in Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, HTML/HTML5


• Knowledge of RDBMS and developing Web Services applications and connections using the SOAP and REST protocols

Teamwork and Innovation:

• Eagerness to learn


• Affinity toward process improvement


• Ability to collaborate and facilitate in your department and cross-functional project teams


• Ability to take the initiative; self-starter


• Strong communication skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate


• A major in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Engineering, or Business Administration


• A recent college or software development bootcamp graduate; or someone who is changing careers into software development


• Possess a basic knowledge of development toolsets, development processes, and quality assurance methodologies


• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint

Skills:

• Previous work experience in programming


• Lean Six Sigma training and certification


• ITIL Service Management Training


• Experience in SharePoint site configuration


• Experience in ServiceNow configuration management


• Experience in Java, JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, HTML/HTML5


• Experience in RDBMS and developing Web Services applications using the SOAP and REST protocols


• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence a room of your peers


• Knowledge of React, React Native


• Knowledge of TypeScript


• Knowledge of RDBMS: Oracle, Postgres


• Knowledge of the MVC development pattern


• Knowledge in Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate
