Power BI Admin

Location: Titusville, NJ - Need Only Local

Duration: 6 -12 Months+

We need an onsite PowerBI Admin, for Titusville NJ location.

Here is the JD

As a PowerBI Admin, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Power BI platform to meet the organization's business intelligence needs.

This includes hosting Power BI applications, migrating and centralizing dashboards, and creating security and access groups.

And also creating and managing dashboards, configuring data refresh schedules, ensuring data accuracy and security, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Platform Management:
    • Oversee and maintain the Power BI environment, including configuration, security, and data policies.
    • Monitor Power BI usage and performance.
  2. Data Management & Modeling:
  • Host Power BI applications with current dashboards built on users' laptops.
  • Migrate and centralize dashboards to a unified platform.
  • Create and manage security groups and Active Directory (AD) groups.
  1. Report and Dashboard Development:
    • Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
    • Configure data refresh schedules to ensure timely updates.
  2. Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce data security measures, create AD groups
    • Ensure compliance with data policies and regulations.
    • Use audit logs to track data movement and access.
    • Manage workspaces and workspace capacities.
  3. Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Monitor the health of Power BI capacities.
    • Optimize performance and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with the Office 365/Azure team for seamless operations
